Amazon Seller Central Dashboard Guide 2026: Find What You Need and Act on It

Seller Central is cluttered but powerful. Here is a guide to the most important sections: Account Health, Sales and Traffic reports, inventory management, and where to find your conversion rate.

Navigating Seller Central

Amazon Seller Central is the operational hub for every FBA and FBM seller. The dashboard surfaces key metrics (units sold, buy box percentage, account health score) but is notoriously cluttered. Knowing where to find what you need saves hours. Here is a map of the most important sections and what each one is for.

Account Health

Account Health (under Performance > Account Health) is the most important dashboard in Seller Central. It shows your Order Defect Rate (target under 1%), Pre-Fulfillment Cancel Rate (under 2.5%), and Late Shipment Rate (under 4%). If any metric hits the yellow zone, investigate immediately. Red zone = account at risk of suspension. Check this weekly at minimum.

The Reports Tab

Sales and Traffic report (under Reports > Business Reports > Detail Page Sales and Traffic) shows unit session percentage (your conversion rate) by ASIN. This is your primary optimization signal: low conversion on a high-traffic ASIN means your listing has a problem. High traffic and low conversion = fix the listing. Low traffic = fix the keywords or run ads.

Manage Inventory

The Manage Inventory screen shows all active listings, current stock levels, buy box ownership, and listing quality alerts. The Stranded Inventory tab (under Fix Stranded Inventory) surfaces products that have inventory but no active offer, costing you storage fees without any revenue. Check this monthly.
