Amazon Brand Registry: Benefits and How to Enroll in 2026
Brand Registry gives you control over your listings, A+ Content, a brand store, and counterfeit protection. Here is what you get and how to sign up.
What Brand Registry Actually Gets You
Amazon Brand Registry is free to join and gives you access to features that significantly improve your ability to manage your presence on Amazon. The core benefit is ownership of your brand's content: once you are registered, you control what appears on your product pages, and other sellers cannot override your content with their own. Without Brand Registry, any seller who lists against your ASIN can change the title, images, and bullets.
A+ Content
The most visible benefit of Brand Registry is A+ Content, also called Enhanced Brand Content. This replaces the plain text product description with a formatted layout that can include additional images, comparison charts, feature banners, and text modules. Studies by Amazon have shown A+ Content increases conversion rates by an average of 3 to 10 percent. For a product with significant sales volume, that is a meaningful revenue lift.
Brand Store
Brand Registry gives you access to Amazon Stores, which lets you build a multi-page branded storefront on Amazon. This is free to build and maintain. A good store drives repeat customers from your product pages to your full catalog and gives you a landing page for Sponsored Brand ads.
Protecting Against Counterfeits
Brand Registry gives you access to Amazon Project Zero and Transparency, anti-counterfeit programs. Project Zero lets you remove counterfeit listings without contacting Amazon support. Transparency adds unique codes to each product unit, letting customers verify authenticity before purchase.
How to Enroll
You need a registered trademark in your primary market. A pending trademark application is accepted in the US (through IP Accelerator). The trademark must be a text-mark or image mark that appears on your product or packaging. Go to brandservices.amazon.com, select Brand Registry, and complete the enrollment process. Amazon typically reviews applications within two weeks.
