Amazon Brand Registry: What It Gives You and How to Enroll

The full list of Brand Registry benefits, eligibility requirements, and the enrollment process step by step.

Amazon Brand Registry gives brand owners tools to protect their listings and access marketing features unavailable to regular sellers. If you own a registered trademark and sell on Amazon, enrolling is one of the highest-ROI actions you can take.

What Brand Registry gives you

A+ Content: Enhanced listing content with custom images, comparison charts, and story modules. A+ Content increases conversion rates by an average of 5.6% according to Amazon's own data.

Brand Analytics: Access to real customer search data. See which search terms drive traffic to your category, what terms your competitors rank for, and which demographics buy products like yours.

Sponsored Brand ads: Ad units that show your brand logo and multiple products at the top of search results. Not available to non-registered sellers.

Brand Store: A multi-page storefront on Amazon with your own URL (amazon.com/stores/YourBrand). Shows only your products.

Brand Protection: Automated protections that use machine learning to find and remove suspected counterfeit listings. You also get a Report a Violation tool to manually flag infringers.

Virtual Bundles: Sell bundles of your own ASINs without creating physical multipacks.

Amazon Vine: Invite top Amazon reviewers to receive your products for free in exchange for reviews. Powerful for new product launches.

Eligibility requirements

You must have a registered trademark in the country where you want to enroll. For the US, the trademark must be registered with the USPTO. Pending trademarks are accepted in some cases through IP Accelerator.

The trademark must be a word mark or image+words mark. Pure image marks (logos) without text are not accepted.

Your products must bear the trademark — as a brand name, logo, or both — on the product or its packaging.

Enrollment process

Go to brandregistry.amazon.com and sign in with your Seller Central credentials. Click "Enroll a brand," enter your trademark registration number, select the trademark office, and upload photos of your product showing the branded packaging.

Amazon's review typically takes 3-10 business days. You may receive a verification code by mail to confirm your trademark registration details.

After enrollment

Immediately apply A+ Content to your top 10 ASINs. Set up your Brand Store. Enable automated protections in Brand Protection settings. Apply for Vine enrollment if you have new ASINs that need reviews.
