Suppression: Multiple Account Violation

Amazon has determined that you operate more than one seller account without explicit written authorization. Amazon's policy permits only one seller account per entity unless special circumstances are documented and approved.

How to detect this suppression

Account Health shows a multiple account policy violation. This often triggers a full account suspension, not just individual listing removal. All listings across all connected accounts may be deactivated.

Fix steps

  1. 1Do not attempt to operate the second account or create new accounts to work around the suspension
  2. 2Determine which account is your primary, legitimate business account
  3. 3Prepare a POA explaining how the multiple account situation came to exist (merger, separate product line, family member account)
  4. 4If you have a legitimate business reason for two accounts: request an exception with full business documentation
  5. 5If the second account was unauthorized: acknowledge it in the POA and commit to operating only one account
  6. 6Submit the POA through the suspended account's Account Health

Appeal process

Formal POA through the suspended account is the only path to reinstatement. Amazon takes this violation very seriously — the POA must be detailed, honest about the situation, and demonstrate a credible commitment to operating under one account.

Expected resolution time: 14-45 days
