Suppression: Adult Content Flag
The listing has been flagged as adult content, which restricts its visibility. Listings incorrectly flagged as adult content will not appear in standard search results and cannot be sold to buyers who have not opted into adult content.
How to detect this suppression
Check the listing in Edit Listing — the "Is Adult Product" attribute will be set to "Yes." If this was set accidentally or incorrectly, the listing's visibility is significantly reduced.
Fix steps
- 1Go to Edit Listing > More Details and find the "Is Adult Product" attribute
- 2If incorrectly set to Yes: change to No and save
- 3If the listing was correctly identified as adult content but you want standard visibility: ensure the product genuinely does not qualify as adult content and is not prohibited
- 4Allow 24-48 hours for the visibility change to take effect after editing
- 5If Amazon has marked it as adult due to product content that you cannot change, you may need to reconsider the product
Appeal process
For incorrect adult flags set by Amazon (not by you): contact Seller Support to request a review of the adult content designation with an explanation of why the product does not meet the adult content criteria.
