Policy Details
Amazon Brand Registry is Amazon's program for brand owners to protect their intellectual property and access enhanced selling tools. Enrollment requires an active registered trademark in one of Amazon's accepted trademark offices (USPTO for US, EUIPO for EU, IPO for UK, etc.). Pending trademarks do not qualify — the trademark must be fully registered with a registration number. The trademark must match the brand name as used on your physical products or product packaging. Enrollment benefits: Report a Violation tool to flag IP infringement and counterfeits on Amazon; A+ Content (Enhanced Brand Content) for richer product descriptions with images; Sponsored Brand ads (previously called Headline Search Ads); Manage Your Experiments for A/B testing listing content; Amazon Stores (brand storefronts); Vine invitation access for review collection; Project Zero access (for qualifying brands with high infringement rates); and Transparency program enrollment for product authentication. Enrollment process: go to brandservices.amazon.com, sign in with your Seller Central account, and follow the enrollment wizard. You will need to enter your trademark registration number, trademark office, trademark type, and the product categories you sell in. Once enrolled, Brand Registry membership links to your Seller Central account and your brand protections take effect across the marketplace.
Common Violations
- ⚠Applying with a pending trademark (only registered trademarks qualify)
- ⚠Trademark not matching the brand name used on products
