Amazon Brand Content: A+ Content Guide for Brand-Registered Sellers

How to create and publish Amazon A+ Content (formerly Enhanced Brand Content) to improve your listing conversion rate.

Amazon A+ Content (previously called Enhanced Brand Content for third-party sellers) replaces the standard text product description with rich-media content: product comparison charts, feature images with text, lifestyle modules, and Q&A sections. Available only to brand-registered sellers, A+ Content can be published through Brand Registry > A+ Content Manager. A+ Content modules: standard modules include text blocks, image with text, feature lists, comparison charts, and brand narrative sections. Premium A+ Content (available to brands meeting additional criteria) includes video modules and interactive content. Impact on conversion: Amazon states that A+ Content typically improves sales by 3-10%. High-quality A+ Content that tells a compelling product story and addresses buyer questions can improve conversion by more. Content guidelines: cannot include pricing or availability information (this changes frequently and A+ Content does not update automatically); cannot include competitor brand names; cannot make drug or health claims that are not supported by the product's regulatory status; and must use images that meet Amazon's technical specifications. Creation process: go to Brand Registry > A+ Content Manager > Create A+ Content. Choose from standard module templates, add your content and images, preview on both desktop and mobile, and submit for Amazon review. Amazon typically reviews A+ Content within 7 days. Common rejection reasons: content claiming specific certifications without documentation, images with white backgrounds treated as main images (supplemental modules work better with non-white backgrounds), and violation of content policies.
