Fix Stranded Inventory on Amazon: A Step-by-Step Guide
How to find all your stranded FBA inventory and resolve each type of stranded reason quickly.
Stranded inventory is FBA stock in Amazon's warehouse with no active listing. You pay storage fees but Amazon cannot sell it. Go to Seller Central > Inventory > Fix Stranded Inventory (or search "stranded inventory" in the Seller Central search bar). Amazon shows every stranded ASIN with a stranded reason. For "Listing closed" — click Relist to reopen the listing. For "Price missing" — set a price in Manage Pricing. For "Blocked" — check Account Health for the specific violation and appeal. For "Category restriction added" — apply for category approval in Add Products. For "Deleted" — recreate the listing. For "Listing under review" — allow 24-48 hours for Amazon to complete the review. If you cannot resolve the stranded reason quickly or the inventory value is low, create a removal order (Manage FBA Returns > Create Removal Order) to get the inventory shipped back to you.
