Amazon Listing Stuck in Pending: How to Fix It
Why Amazon listings get stuck in pending status and what steps resolve them quickly.
A listing stuck in pending status usually means Amazon is still processing your submission. Pending listings are not visible to buyers. Most pending listings process within 15 minutes to 4 hours. If your listing is still pending after 24 hours, there is likely an underlying issue. Check for processing errors in Add Products > Monitor Upload Status. A processing error indicates the upload contained invalid data — correct the error and re-upload. For flat file uploads, download the processing report to see which rows failed. If there are no error messages but the listing is still pending, open a Seller Support case with the ASIN or SKU and a description of when you submitted the listing. Pending can also indicate a review queue — some categories (like restricted categories you recently applied for) require manual review before listings go live.
