Amazon Listing Deactivated: How to Reactivate Your ASIN

Why Amazon deactivates listings and the appeal process to get them reinstated.

Amazon deactivates listings for several reasons: policy violations (prohibited content, misleading claims), intellectual property complaints, safety issues, category restrictions added after the fact, or account-level actions that affect all listings. To check why your listing was deactivated, go to Account Health > Policy Compliance. Each deactivation has a notification with the reason and a link to appeal. For policy violations, write a Plan of Action explaining the root cause, corrective actions taken, and preventive measures. For IP complaints, contact the complainant to resolve the dispute or provide evidence that the complaint is invalid. Appeals must be submitted through Account Health — emailing Amazon support directly is less effective.
