Stranded Inventory at FBA
You have inventory at Amazon's fulfillment centers that is not connected to an active listing. This inventory cannot be sold and incurs storage fees.
Why this happens
The associated listing was deleted or suppressed after the inventory arrived. ASIN was closed without removing the inventory first.
How to fix it
Go to Manage Inventory > Inventory > Fix Stranded Inventory. For each stranded unit, either reactivate the listing or create a removal order to get the inventory back.
How to prevent it
Before closing or deleting any listing, always create a removal order for the associated FBA inventory first.
Typical resolution time: 1-7 days
