Invalid UPC/EAN
The UPC or EAN on your listing fails Amazon's validation check. This can prevent the listing from going live or cause it to be suppressed.
Why this happens
UPC purchased from a non-GS1 source (bulk barcode sellers), a typo in the barcode entry, or using a recycled barcode.
How to fix it
Verify your UPC in the GS1 database at gs1us.org. If the barcode is invalid, apply for a GTIN exemption through Seller Central using your brand name.
How to prevent it
Buy barcodes only from GS1 directly. Verify each barcode immediately after purchase.
